The Creative Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) is a University of Manchester certificated course. The CEP has been specifically designed for people who are not normally able to access formal education, or who have had limited experiences of formal education due to personal, social, economic or political circumstances.
The programme has been designed for those who have a flair for creative endeavours or who are keen to embark on a career in the creative industries. This entry level continuing professional development course (CDP) seeks to develop practical skills and knowledge in the creative industries.
The trainer is a Tanzanian creative entrepreneur ad successful singer Grace Matata. Her musical journey started in 2010 when she got signed by the record label Music Lab (M-Lab) under the media group, Media Kings. Her music is a unique blend of Swahili soul, RnB and jazz . Her first album NYAKATI (meaning TIMES in Swahili) came out in 2013 and has taken Grace into the international platform and solidified her image as a unique female artist in the Tanzanian music industry. Apart from her musical career, she works as a Business Development/Project Delivery Manager in Culture and Development East Africa and as an independent event promoter and organizer in Dar es Salaam.
